Welcome!

Welcome to the Penfield Ecumenical Food Shelf!

We are a supplemental food relief organization

serving the 14526 and 14625 zip codes,

in addition to families of children in the Penfield School District.

Our mission is to alleviate food insecurity in the Penfield Community

by providing nutritious food to those

in need in a compassionate, respectful

and non-judgmental manner.

This institution is an equal opportunity provider.

Adopting a shelf is a commitment 3 or 4 times a year providing about  20 non-perishable food items is an easy yet impactful way to help those in need. By consistently donating, you can make a difference in the lives of families who are struggling to put food the table.

Financial Donation

Our ability to provide food and expand our operations to meet the growing demand relies heavily on your donations.

We have experienced a 50% increase in the number of families using our service and a 60% increase in the amount of food we are purchasing and distributing. In response to the rising need in Penfield  we have restructured our operations and continue to reimagine the use of our space.
